Here’s all the info you’ll need before you visit Lucy’s on a Plate, if you have a question we don’t list on this page then please feel free to contact us.

Is there Parking nearby?

On-street parking is available on Church Street and the surrounding streets, parking discs are available from most shops, café’s and restaurants within Ambleside free of charge. You do not need a disc after 6pm.

Do you cater for Special Diets?

Special diets are Lucy’s speciality, whatever your dietary requirements may be Lucy’s are able to cater for (almost!) all dietary needs.

Are Dogs allowed?

Yes absolutely! Our four legged guests are always welcome, we would just ask that you phone ahead and book as we only have a limited amount of dog friendly tables.

Do you have High Chairs?

Yes we do, please mention when booking and we will have a high chair ready at your table for you.

Do you have Accessibility?

Lucy’s is fully accessible, unfortunately not all facilities are accessible as we do have three small steps to the toilet facilities.

Do you cater for Special Occasions?

We certainly do, Lucy’s love to host your special occasions from birthdays to weddings and everything in between!

What are your Opening Hours?

  • Monday – Closed
  • Tuesday – Sunday open from 5pm.

Is the restaurant Licensed?

Yes, Lucy’s on a Plate is fully licensed.

Do you have Gift Vouchers available to purchase?

Yes, please either contact Lucy’s on 015394 32288 or email info@lucysofambleside.co.uk.

Are Children allowed in the restaurant in the evenings?

Children are welcome at Lucy’s at any time throughout the evening service.

Is there a Children’s Menu?
