Our wine bar and bistro ‘Lucy Four – a Devil of a good time’ - opened in 1999 – just across the road in St. Mary’s Lane – and whilst people comment that this must be ‘for the younger ones’ - this is not at all the case – it seems to appeal
to all ages.

Indeed it is … Cosy 4 Couples, Ideal 4 Individuals and Perfect 4 Parties! (Lucifer is the Original Party Demon!) You can enjoy a glass or two from a huge selection of Wines, Champagnes, local beer etc., Continental Coffees and
Pastries, together with a completely different but equally delicious style of menu – the emphasis being on sharing food and social eating – last orders over there are at 10.30, so this is the ideal place for before or after the Cinema, late supper or simply for the Hell of it! The building itself is interesting because you enter on one level (downstairs there is a fire and larger table etc. and is used for larger parties and the occasional Smoking Fiend) and go up to the bar and main eating area which is wonderfully vibrant, has settees for comfortably relaxing, cool music and non-smoking and there you are on another street level!
