Lucy Cooks Now Open

Whether you’re a ‘little rare around the edges’ or a ‘well seasoned cook’ you’ll find something to suit your needs – be it an all day practical course, or a distinctly different demonstration.

We’ll be inviting you to discover a whole new approach to the preparation and cooking of food– in particular food produced in Cumbria –an emphasis on food that is ‘sourced locally and cooked globally’. Whether you wish to learn the basics for life, find a new direction or simply escape the day to day routine – you’ll be thrilled at what we’ll have to offer.

Not wishing to spoil the ‘surprise’ –there will be an onsite shop where you can ‘buy what you cook and cook what you buy’ – as well as being able to purchase items that you ‘cook with’ …. Beautifully proportioned purpose-built kitchens, a fabulous area to socialise and enjoy the company of new found friends, plus lots of other little details that will ensure ‘LucyCooks’ is a welcome addition to the existing ‘Lucy’s of Ambleside’ group.
